History

Our company was started as CO.ME.T. in 1970 and then it has been continued as RL PLASTPROJECT since 2008, with the experience of qualified staff intensely involved in the construction of extrusion lines and the processing of various types of PVC films and polyolefin for many years.

The first plants built were PVC Shrink lines for which RL PLASTPROJECT, thanks to constant development work, continues even today to enjoy a reputation as one of the world’s leading suppliers, with multiple repeat orders to testify the quality of the lines and of the film they produce.

Not much later followed the introduction of Rigid PVC Lines for twist wrapping and laminating purposes and in 1989 we supplied our first double-bubble Polyolefin Shrink film line, a single layer line producing bi-oriented octane based LLDPE film built specifically for customers already producing PVC Shrink film and eager to enter this promising new market. Further development quickly led to the construction of 3-5-7 layer co-extrusion lines which have been very successful and since become standard products of company’s program.

In the 90’s a marked increase in the demand for production capacity of food grade films, especially from non-European countries, led to the addition of two medium and high capacity PVC Cling film vertical extrusion lines which represent an ideal solution for areas which have until today been served only by importers and have no local capacities.

The latest addition to the program is a line producing blown bi-oriented PVC Shrink film line for labels, an industrial application which has gained increasing success and for which RL PLASTPROJECT is able to supply a line with output and film width well beyond what the market has made available till now.
